I've been in the profession for 34 years, specializing in lower limb trauma, and I'm a Faculty member of AO International. I'm 60 years old and the mother of a 12-year-old son.
I have a special interest in helping young female doctors develop their careers. Due to health problems I have not been able to operate for 10 years, but I continue to provide clinical care to patients.

I am a foot and ankle surgery from Brazil and one of my biggest passions is mentoring. I work in three hospitals, all with medical residency programs, and I hope I can contribute to the increase in diversity in orthopedics.

I’ve developed a deep interest in orthopedic surgery and would like to pursue a residency in this field, ideally with an international focus.
I’m also passionate about innovation, digital health, and medical education — areas I would love to integrate into my future practice.
